There has been a rise in the number of fraudulent telephone calls coming from people claiming to represent legitimate companies.
One of the most common calls is coming from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. They use scare tactics to convince you that your computer is infected with a virus. They then direct you to a website and have you install software that allows them to take control of your computer.
If you believe you were contacted by one of these scammers, please call our office and ask for tech support. We also recommend filing a police report if you have been a victim of this scam. Click here for more information.
